Marbles

I have noticed that I paint larger works more often now to what I have done in the past. Because I want these paintings to succeed, I find they tend to sap my energy when I look for perfection.

For a bit of fun I decided to paint some small / little paintings. The objects I paint will be sight size rather than miniature though once I get used to the small format in oils I may occasionally scale down what I see and paint small landscapes.

Like I said it is all about fun so don’t expect perfection.

Are you downsizing

Awhile back when I started this blog I had intentions of painting small affordable paintings. Soon afterwards there was more demand on my larger pieces with little time for this blog. I would like to think though in the course of time that I will be able to put life back into this blog with small works published. This is why I haven't closed this blog down and admittedly it must leave visitors wondering what is happening.
